Firstly, thank you for all of your support for my online launch of WALKS.
The visits to my website were something else and the messages received were very encouraging. As an artist is it always a bit daunting releasing your creativity into the world for folk to see – hours of work and personal thoughts transferred onto a painting.
I received messages from folk from all over who enjoyed the exhibition launch – that really is something to be chuffed about. So many have a special connection to the Islands and I am glad I can help them connect with our landscape.
Who would have thought this time 18 months ago that this is how things would have developed – a huge learning curve for so many. Thank you to all those who have encouraged, supported, listened and guided, you know who you are.
WALKS will continue to be live http://www.lauradrever.co.uk throughout May for you to view at your leisure. I will be posting more detail about each work and highlighting some of the walks that have inspired. The artwork will be hanging in the studio until the end of the virtual exhibition. If you would like to view in person, get in touch directly to arrange a suitable time to view – appointment only as current Covid Guidelines are being followed.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and enjoy that walk.
